Valve Body Testing - Kent, Faversham

Valve Body Testing at Our Faversham Branch

At our Faversham, Kent branch, we provide a thorough Valve Body Testing service to help identify issues within automatic gearboxes quickly and accurately.

The valve body is a key control unit within the transmission, managing hydraulic fluid flow to ensure smooth and timely gear changes. When problems arise, drivers may notice symptoms such as harsh shifting, delayed gear engagement, or unpredictable performance.

How Our Valve Body Testing Works

We use dedicated testing equipment to assess valve body function under simulated operating conditions. This allows us to examine both mechanical and electronic elements in detail, helping to uncover faults that standard vehicle diagnostics may not detect.

Our testing process can highlight issues such as:

• Electrical or solenoid-related faults
• Internal hydraulic pressure loss
• Restricted or sticking valves

The Benefits of Accurate Testing

By carrying out detailed valve body testing, our Kent team can pinpoint the root cause of transmission issues before further work is considered. This can reduce unnecessary repairs and give you clear information to make confident decisions about the next steps for your vehicle.
